Welcome to FAA. FAA Can Help!
FAA's Preamble
FAA is self-supporting through our own contributions. There are no dues or fees required for membership, but only a desire to stop eating addictive foods. We are not affiliated with any diet or weight loss programs, treatment facilities or religious organizations. We neither endorse nor oppose any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay abstinent and help other food addicts to achieve abstinence.
Program of Recovery
If you decide that you are a food addict (or still unsure) after reading information on this website, then go to the “Tools of Recovery“ that will assist you in beginning the program.
The real strength of the FAA program is in its membership and the support and love you receive in recovering from this disease. We suggest that you attend six meetings before deciding whether or not you are a food addict. We have face-to-face meetings, phone meetings several times daily, an email group called the FAA Loop, as well as virtual meetings. These can all be found under our “Meetings” section.
